Floating boardroom table

Floating_Table

The MAD Agency in Horton near Wimborne, Dorset boasts what appears to be a floating boardroom table. Infact, the 10ft black-topped table is not actually floating, just suspended on virtually-invisible yacht rigging wires, creating a guaranteed talking point.

EOOS_portrait_1.jpg

Where do designers get their inspiration? Well, as I found out at Bene's showroom in Clerkenwell last night, it can come from some surprising places. Well news has broken today of the star’s death. From an editor’s point of view it has dominated the news all day, and despite the shock of anyone’s sudden death, it has left the world grieving and the world weaker. Not a fan myself, but everyone I’ve spoken to today in our architectural and design industry, can’t not mention the MJ word. Silestone ‘Zen’ Quartz Worktop in Tao

Silestone_Zen_Tao.JPG
Silestone Zen range in Tao

I totally love this kitchen! The worksurfaces are from Silestone's popular Zen range, which is inspired by Eastern influences. Silestone worktops are made from up to 93% natural quartz crystals and 7% pigments, resin, mirror and glass and have a high resistance to scratch, stain and heat. Silestone worksurfaces also benefit from an exclusive Microban antibacterial protection that lasts the lifetime of the surface and helps fight the growth of micro-organisms and harmful bacteria.
