June 28, 2007

Open source business intelligence vendor JasperSoft has confirmed that it is on the way to closing a $12.27m Series D funding round, which would bring its total funding to date to $35.57m

The company has confirmed a report on Private Equity Hub that it has "secured $11 million of a $12.27 million Series D round" and is working in the rest.

Scale Venture Partners led the current round, joining existing investors Partech International, DCM and Morgenthaler.

The company announced that it had raised $5.3m in Series A funding in August 2002 under its previous name of Panscopic, before following that up with $10m in March 2003.

Following its name change an $8m Series C round was announced in July 2005.
